Community mobilization programme held

Srinagar: The Zonal Education Office, Eidgah here organised a community mobilization programme at Girls Higher Secondary, Goripora and Middle School Bakkshpora respectively.  The Chief Education Officer, Srinagar Malik Ghulam Hassan, Principal DIET, Srinagar and District Gender co-ordinator highlighted the role  of Education Department and SSA in bringing down the number of never enrolled and dropout  children particularly girl students by way of establishing NPEGEL .  An overwhelming participation of respectable community members made the mobilization a great success. On the occasion, a rally of students was also carried out to aware the masses regarding importance of girl education.
