JK Bank to discover, encourage and nurture talent: Chairman

Srinagar, May 11: For promotion of sports talent available in the state J&K Bank shall be organizing, hosting and holding sports events, championships, tournaments, competitions and exhibition matches.
 The bank shall be even arranging and organizing coaching sessions, training camps, etc. to improve the skills of athletes and raise the sporting standard in the state.
 This was stated by Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of the bank. Even as the bank has been providing tremendous support to the sports activities and the persons associated with it, the bank has constituted its sports board to promote, develop and encourage competitive sports, athletics and cultural activities in a professional manner in the J&K State.
 “We have reoriented our approach vis-à-vis sports so that local talent in different sports is harnessed and encouraged to participate successfully in their area of sport at national as well as international level. We are here to discover, encourage and nurture young talent in different sports in our State,” said Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman of the bank while talking about the bank’s aims and objectives in promoting field of sports in a professional manner.
 Remarkably, Mushtaq Ahmad is the Patron of the recently constituted J&K Bank Sports Board.
 Notably, the constitution of the sports board also envisages fostering spirit of sportsmanship amongst the employees of the bank and providing opportunities that shall enable them to successfully participate in the field of sports.
