'Mainstream leaders exploit K-issue'
Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) chairman, Farooq Ahmad alias Bitta Karatey and senior vice-chairman, Javid Ahmad Mir, have accused the mainstream leaders of exploiting the Kashmir issue to befool masses. “With the reopening of offices in the summer capital, these politicians have started organizing public meetings to shed crocodile tears. They are spewing venom against the ongoing freedom movement and pro-freedom leaders to keep New Delhi in good humour,” said the Front leaders, in a joint statement, adding “after sharing the sentiment of patriotism for six months with communalists in Jammu, these politicians are now announcing so-called formulas to build their political mansions on the graves of Kashmiris.” They said, “Kashmir issues has three cardinal parties and Kashmiris have been offering supreme sacrifices for the past 63 years to get their status acknowledged as principal party to the issue.”
