Team to assess crop damage
Srinagar, May 13: Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir expressed shock over the damage caused to horticulture crop and agriculture seedlings due to hail storm in Khag and Tangmarg tehsils of Budgam and Baramulla districts last evening.
Mir, an official statement said, directed both the Deputy Commissioners to constitute a team of officers to assess the damage in these areas so that they would be provided relief under natural calamity fund. He directed them to submit the report within week.
