Stop looking through prism of Pakistan: Dehalvi to Geelani
Jammu, May 14: Chairman of the Anjuman Minhaje Rasool (S), Maulana Syed Hussain Dehalvi, on Saturday advised Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani to stop looking through the prism of Pakistan for restoration of peace and normalcy in Kashmir.
Referring to the prayer meeting held by Geelani in Valley to pay homage to slain Al-Qaeda chief Osama-bin-Laden, he said the Hurriyat leader by such acts was doing no good to peace loving people of Kashmir especially when even the Muslim world had in one voice described US as the creator and eliminator of Osama. Such acts are bound to spoil the already fragile peace in the Valley where both Hindus and Muslims are yearning to live together in peace and amity, he added.
Dehalvi said that it was wrong to associate Osama with a particular community, adding that he (Osama) had never been the identity of Islam and the Muslim world.
