Nowhatta alleges discrimination
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, May 15: The residents of Jildagar Mohalla, Nowhatta have accused the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) of failing to repair the drains in the area.
The residents said their houses have developed dampness due to drainage failure, craving for repairs for the past over two decades.
The residents appealed the SMC Commissioner Sheikh Mushtaq to look into the matter.
Pertinently, earlier this year the civic body officials had assured that the drains would be repaired on priority. But till now their promise remains a promise.
