MMU holds career counselling in Srinagar
Srinagar, May 16: Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) Mullana, Ambala conducted a seminar on Career Counselling and Education Guidance for the students of the J&K on May 15 and 16 at a local hotel here. Around 300 students and their parents from different parts of Valley participated in the programme.
The expert team of the University apprised the participating students about various career options available. The experts said the University has been offering scholarships to the meritorious candidates especially in the streams of Management, Engineering & Technology including diploma courses. The candidates securing 75 to 85 per cent in their qualifying examinations will be offered 15 per cent waiver in tuition fee and students securing above 85 per cent will be allowed 25 per cent discount in tuition fee in their respective courses, they said.
Appreciating the overwhelming response of the students and their parents from the Valley, the University has decided to continue with the seminar on May 17. It said the university has world class infrastructure, air conditioned hostel facilities and highly qualified faculty at all of its Institutes of Engineering & Technology, Business Management, Computer Science & Applications, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pharmacy. The University has Institutions of Medical Streams at Mullana-Ambala and other institutions namely MM University Sadopur-Ambala; MM University, Solan (HP) and MM Group of Institutions, Ramba-Karnal.
