Slow work pace on drain irks Umarhar residents

Srinagar, May 16: The residents of Umarhaer, Buchpora have appealed the authorities to expedite work on drain being constructed there.
 A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir that the work was going on at snail’s pace.
 “The inhabitants, particularly the elders and children are facing huge inconvenience due to the delay in the completion of the project,” the delegation said.
 “We apprised the concerned officials about the problems being faced by the people, but our repeated pleas have fallen to deaf ears,” they said.
 They sought immediate intervention of senior functionaries in the administration in this regard.
