PFL concerned at Ganai’s falling health

Srinagar: Peoples’ Freedom League has expressed concern over, what it said, the falling health of its incarcerated general secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, in Central Jail here.
“Ganai, who is a diabetic patient, has developed renal disease, vision impairment and hypertension due to non-availability of proper treatment,” League said in a statement, adding “he is not being shifted to SKIMS, Soura for specialized treatment by the Jail authorities despite court orders.”
He appealed to Amnesty International and International Red Cross to intervene to save the life of Muhammad Rafiq Ganai.
