Bar condoles Sajid’s demise
Delegation visits bereaved family

Srinagar, May 19: The Bar Association of Ganderbal has condoled the demise of Sajid Iqbal Khanday, son of senior bureaucrat Muhammad Iqbal Khanday and Judicial Registrar High Court Kanees Fatimah.
A bar spokesman said the condolence meeting was held at Ganderbal district with Principal District and Session Judge Ganderbal, Muhammad Shafi Khan in chair. Members of Ganderbal and Kangan Bar associations attended the meeting.
In his address Khan termed Sajid a “pious soul” and offered Fateha Khawani.
The meeting, which was also attended by Chief Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal Javed Aalam, Judicial Magistrate Kangan, Khurshid-Ul- Islam and Munsif Ganderbal Umi Kulsum, prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Thereafter, the Bar delegation went to the Church Lane residence of Khandays in Srinagar and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.
Pertinently, Sajid, met with a road accident at Awantipora in south Kashmir on Tuesday while the Ganderbal Bar had suspended the routine work to condole the demise.
