APSCC members meet CM
Srinagar: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee members led by its chairman, Jagmohan Singh Raina, met the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and highlighted their demands.
In a statement, APSCC said, the delegation urged Omar to resolve the genuine demands of Sikh community.
The demands put forth by the members include: Allotment of Minority status for J&K Sikhs, special employment package, immediate filling of vacant post of Punjabi teachers and lecturers at school, college and University level, providing State Subject at an earliest and amendments in Gurudwara Act.
