Thousands throng Zeishta Devi Temple for Mahayagya

Srinagar, May 22: Overlooking Dal Lake, the famous Zeishta Devi temple today witnessed an unusual festivity as 6000 Kashmiri Pandits took part in a ‘Mahayagya’ at its complex for peace.
 “Nearly 6000 KP pilgrims took part in annual Mahayagya organised by Zeishta Devi Prabandhak Committee (ZDPC) at temple complex today,” ZDPC president B B Bhat, said.
 They also offered Prashad to devotees, who recited hymns and prayers in the praise of Goddess Zeishta.
