That is how you grow
CRITICISM
WE CAN TURN ANYONE'S CRITICISM TO OUR OWN ADVANTAGE PROVIDED WE LEAVE OUR EYES AND EARS OPEN. WRITES M. USMAN GANI
Criticism is not any obstacle but a little leap towards success or perfection. Any criticism against you will never distort your image; whatever the circumstances, you will always remain what you are. Any challenge put forth before you provides you an opportunity to put forth your next step more intelligently. Criticism does not mean that you are nothing; it means you are a lot. Something is there that gives you existence and others an opportunity to analyse your behaviour, but simultaneously it means you lack something very important which you need to develop within yourself to attain some sort of perfection. It lays the foundation for absoluteness. A hypothesis which is much more criticized turns out to be the best theory later on. A teacher criticized today hopefully becomes the best teacher of tomorrow. The consequences of the criticism will be positive only, if the person under criticism turns the challenge into opportunity. Because a wise man turns a chance into goal and a fool has no capacity to think about it. How to play with the words depends on the perception of the individual, in which context he comprehends the situation. If a fool criticises you, you need not waste your energy in listening to him instead if a noble worthy man criticizes you, you should be honesty grateful to him, because he is devoting his precious energy and time to bring some degree of accuracy in you. The more challenges put before you, the more opportunity you get to imbibe good things within yourself. But to face the challenges requires a lot of patience. Being born we need to struggle we have to stumble and we need to stand up because all these things are the consequences of our birth. A pebble is amorphous, but prior to it faces the irregular depths and heights of the mountains. As soon as it rolls down through the same, it breaks its edges, gives it a new shape and finally passes unhindered and reaches on the surface of earth. Likewise we are born without any image with respect to our surroundings but the person facing challenges, circumstances and criticism reaches his destination and develops such an image in the society which is impossible to dismantle. We should always remember that great men having great histories are the product of strong criticism serving as a secret of their success. Thus to become special, we need to make special efforts to convert criticism and challenges into opportunity. We should leave footprints for others to follow rather than the confusion and problems to solve in the world.
