Samoon, Renzushah attend Seerat Conference

Srinagar, May 24: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asghar Hassan Samoon and Director Information Khawaja Farooq Renzushah on Tuesday attended a Seerat (SAW) Majlis at Aali Masjid. The event organized by new Bonvivant school was attended by many Ulemas and other scholars.
A handout said: “Trophies were presented to Renzushah for his contribution in naming Old City as Sher-e-Khaas while the Divisional Commissioner was honored for his extra ordinary contribution in the development of the City.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Samoon appreciated the organizers for organizing the Seerat conference at a place which has historical importance. He also threw light on the life of Hazrat Amir-i Kabir (RA), Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) and Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA).
The Director Information while appreciating the organizers and the people of the area for their acknowledgement to his contribution in Sher-e-Khaas said the old City has its “golden chapter in the historical books”. He said : “Great saints chose each nook and corner of Shahr-e-Khaas for their spiritual meditation and spreading the concept of love and brotherhood.”He expressed his thanks to all concerned for playing a vital role in rebuilding the shrine of Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA) and mausoleum of Hazrat Sultan (RA).
Ghulam Hassan, Chairman Aali Masjid Committee, Nazir Ahmed Chairman New Bonvivant school, Sajad Ishwari, Ghulam Hassan Gamgin, Shah Sahib and various other scholars and Ulemas also spoke on the occasion.
