Communication, banking must for LoC trade: Hurriyat
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, May 25: Chairman, Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday said that communication and bank facilities were vital for flourishing of cross-LoC trade.
“The trade across-LoC cannot thrive until traders are provided with the basic facilities. Both the countries (India and Pakistan) should cooperate with each other so that traders and agencies associated with it won’t face inconvenience,” Mirwaiz said while interacting with a 6-member delegation of Salamabad-Chakoti Traders’ Union who called on him at his residence, here.
Assuring the traders full cooperation, Mirwaiz said things of daily consumption must be included in trade for amplifying it.
“We would support the traders at every level,” he said.
The delegation was led by union vice president Tariq Ahmed Khan.
