Civil defence
This refers to the failure of river police and civil defence officials to fish out the body of Shakir, a 10th class student of Tyndale Biscoe school who was drowned on 20th May. It is really disgusting that the state administration is devoid of trained drivers and efficient equipments to tackle such sort emergencies. The state and civil defence authorities should intervene the matter seriously and enhance their efficiency as well as manpower to avoid such mismanagement.
