Tributes paid to Rasa Javedani
Srinagar, May 26: Rich tributes were paid to the legendary poet of Urdu and Kashmiri language, Rasa Javedani on his 32nd death anniversary.
During a function organised by Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society, with its president, Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik in chair, the speakers highlighted the qualities of Rasa Javedani saying that he was a multidimensional personality. They described Rasa Javedani as a poet who had spread message of love and brotherhood through his poetry.
Prof. Shohab Malik described Rasa Javedani as a towering poet of sub-continent. Noted Kashmiri poet Payre Hatash was the Guest of Honour.
