Amandeep Hospital Amritsar starts OPD in City

Srinagar, May 27: Amandeep Hospital Amritsar today started its Out Patients Department in Classic hospital Hyderpora here.
Addressing a press conference, Chief Orthopedic Surgeon Amandeep Hospital Dr Avtar Singh, said that the hospital will provide free treatment to needy and poor patients in the State.
“We receive large number of patients from Jammu and Kashmir for cleft surgeries under Smile Train Project. The patients are being shifted in our own ambulances,” Dr Avatar said.
He said in Jammu, the hospital’s OPD is running smoothly and free medical camps are being held at Kishtwar, Bhaderwah and Udhampur. He highlighted the achievements of the hospital and rare kind of surgeries performed there.
On the occasion, the proprietor of Classic Hospital, Dr Javeed was optimistic about the collaboration with Amandeep Hospital saying it would help patients in the Valley.
