PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
Srinagar, May 28: Police on Saturday said that it arrested two youth in south Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district on the charges of stone-pelting.
A police spokesman identified the accused as Javid Ahmad Kharadi and Ashiq Hussain Kharadi, both residents of Dangerpora village of Islamabad (Anantnag) district.
He claimed the duo was involved in a stone-throwing "attack" on a police post at Sherbagh during the last year’s summer unrest. “They have been listed as A-category stone-pelters,” the spokesman said.
