Shahr-e-Khaas traders appeal CM
Srinagar, May 2: All Kashmir Traders Federation Shahr-e-Khaas Zaina Kadal has resented the new VAT return forms and urged upon the Government to review it in consultation with the traders.
During a meeting which was chaired by the Federation’s president Nazir Ahmad Shah, the traders said: “The new form is confusing and lengthy. The concerned authorities have been using one or the other pretext to cause inconvenience to the traders. We seek the intervention of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to impress upon the concerned department to review the new tax form in consultation with the traders.”
Shah asked the traders to take up all their problems with the Government through the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation. Among others the meeting was attended by Ghulam Hassan Ghani, Nisar Ahmad Zargar.
The association also appealed the government to complete various road widening projects for the old City.
