Bemina shopkeepers appeal VC SDA

Srinagar: The garbage and filth littered behind the SDA shopping complex, Jamia Market, Bemina Colony, has become a nauseating spot, irking both shopkeepers and passers-by.
 “Gut wrenching stench is coming out from the garbage heaps, becoming all the more unbearable for the nearby shopkeepers and shoppers in these hot days,” said a delegation of shopkeepers, urging the vice-chairman Srinagar Development Authority to take effective steps to rid them of the nuisance. “The piece of land belongs to SDA which has to simply fence it to prevent the dumping of garbage at this spot,” said the shopkeepers.
