CCIK assures full cooperation

Srinagar, May 29: A team of experts/investors from Finland specializing in producing material for insulation of residential and commercial buildings has shown keen interest to set up Cellulofe units in the Valley.
The experts/investors expressed their desire to set up the units in the Valley during a meeting with the CCIK. The team which held threadbare deliberation with the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Kashmir, (CCIK) revealed that they were shortly going to set up some Cellulofe units in Chandigarh.
The CCIK assured the team that it would help them to set up the units in the Valley in joint venture with the local entrepreneurs.
President CCIK M Afzal Parry told Greater Kashmir that the team apprised the CCIK about the benefits of the Cellulofe made from waste paper. He said the Cellulofe is used in the walls that help retain the heat.
“The team will bring sophisticated machinery used for processing the waste paper into Cellulofe,” Parray said.
He said the Cellulofe helped to retain the heat in the rooms. “During winters we face the problem of heat loss from our rooms in residential houses, shops, business establishments, etc. The use of Cellulofe would help retain the heat and keep our rooms, etc warm,” he said.
Parray said the Cellulofe was an eco-friendly product.
The experts were led by one Kari Hari.
Parray said such units could be set up in collaboration with local entrepreneurs or enterprises in the Valley. “In view of the huge scope for use of such product in the Valley, the CCIK believes setting up such units in the Valley would be beneficial to one and sundry,” he said.
