CRPF rebuts eve teasing report
Srinagar, May 30: The paramilitary CRPF on Monday denied that any incident of eve teasing took place at Kashmir Haat, here on Sunday evening.
The Public Relation Officer of CRPF, Prabhkar Tripathi said, “No incident of eve-teasing has taken place in Kashmir Haat on 29 May 2011. No report of eve teasing has been received either by police or CRPF or any other agency.”
“We strongly deny the report. Some miscreants were creating nuisance in Kashmir Haat Complex who were dispersed by Police and CRPF men.
These miscreants after going out of the complex started pelting stones from outside later on they were chased and dispersed off quickly,” he added.
