Amarnath Yatra registration from May 10: CEO

Jammu: Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Chief Executive Officer, R K Goyal, today said the registration of Yatris for this year’s Amarnath Yatra would commence from May 10. 
 In a communiqué, Goyal said, the registration would be done for Baltal and Chandanwari routes, through 149 bank branches across the country, and internet based e-registration system.
 He said the registration would begin from counters established in 121 branches of J&K Bank, 24 branches of YES Bank and four District Cooperative Banks, adding the details of these branches were available on the Board’s website (www.shriamarnathjishrine.com).
 “As decided by SASB, this year’s Yatra shall commence simultaneously, along Baltal and Chandanwari routes, on June 29 and culminate on Raksha Bandhan, on August 13,” he added.
