Diarwani complains of eve-teasing

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, May 3: The residents of Ziarat Batamaloo, Diarwani have complained that some miscreants indulge in eve-teasing and other crimes, which has created nuisance.
A delegation from the area said on Monday evening some druggies eve-teased two colony girls while an elderly woman had tried to stop them.
“But the hooligans called more of their colleagues and started abusing the elderly woman,” they said.
On this some respectables from the area tried to catch hold of the miscreants.
“But they threatened of being taught a lesson by the STF so we had to step back,” the delegation admitted.
They said the miscreants also indulge into drug trafficking in the area.
“We are fed up of their unlawful activities which has become a routine in the area,” the locals said.
They appealed the SP South to look into the matter at an earliest.
“We have full faith that SP Sahib will do the needful.”
