Crime rate

Refer to the news “Man stabs wife to death.” The crime rate in Kashmir is on rise. New types of crimes are being committed by the youth every now and then. What is the fun of having police if crimes in Valley areas continue? There is far greater danger in taking such issues lightly. Just two days back, a girl attacked a boy whose intestine was cut. All this is happening in broad day light. Such things would be a normal phenomenon outside the state. But they are unique in Kashmir. We have never been into such things. What has caused this change? It is time for the parents to keep a vigil on their parents. At the same time police must do its job very sincerely. They must keep a tight watch on the youth on the streets, especially in areas where coaching centres operate.
