GHS Hazratbal holds Seerat conference
Srinagar: The Girls High School Hazratbal organized a Seerat conference in which students and teachers participated.
The participants threw light on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). They urged the Muslims to follow the teachings of Islam in letter and spirit for progress and prosperity.
The conference was organized under the chairpersonship of the school headmistress, Fareeda Akhtar and coordinated by teachers Tanveer Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad.
Senior and junior teachers also participated in the Conference, which was also attended by many locals, who appreciated the endeavor.
“We will continue to hold such conferences in future also to educate our students about the Islamic teachings,” said Fareeda Akhtar.
