Grand Mufti meets Chidambaram

Srinagar: The Grand Mufti of J&K, Mufti Bashir-ud-Din on Wednesday met the Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram, in New Delhi. Drawing the Home Minister’s attention towards Kashmir dispute, the Grand Mufti, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the Supreme Court of Islamic Shariet, J&K, stressed for its peaceful resolution. He termed the Indo-Pak friendly relations as most important to resolve all the contentious issues. He demanded inclusion of Kashmiris in talks, release of all detainees and information about the whereabouts of missing youth to their parents.
