ERA CEO inspects Airport Road drain work

Srinagar, May 6: Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary BB Vyas who is also Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) on Friday inspected work on deep drain along Airport Road, an ERA spokesman said.
 “CEO ERA took on spot review of the progress achieved  so far on the project and gave  instructions to ERA engineer’s, consultants and contractor to further expedite the pace of work  on drain so that traffic on road is restored at earliest,” he added.
 “Project Manager, Urban, Kashmir, J&K ERA informed the CEO that work on drain was started in early winter of 2011 and till date more than 800 meters of drain has been completed,” he said adding “all efforts are being made efforts so that traffic on Airport Road is restored by 20th May.”
