NPM disappointed over interlocutors working
Srinagar, May 6: National Peace Movement has expressed disappointment over the working of the Center’s appointed interlocutors on Kashmir.
“The team that was supposed to untie the knots of the complicated problem, has only created more confusion by creating and debating regional issues, and thus sowing the seeds of disintegration. Interlocutors have also failed to meet most of the separatist leaders and other opinion makers,” NPM coordinator, Subodh Mukoo said in a statement.
Subodh urged the UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi to appoint a political negotiator who has enough experience, and maturity of views, to help in resolving the problem.
Subodh lauded the PM’s initiative of dialogue with Pakistan and welcomed Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani’s statement on the return of migrants.
