NSI Chandigarh conducts camps on fin literacy

Srinagar, May 6: For the revival of Small Savings Schemes, National Savings Institute Chandigarh conducted a series of programmes in the Valley from April 20 to May 5.
During the programmes, training camps of postal officials and authorized agents were organized Tangmarg, Kuzer, Pahalgam, Anantnag (Islamabad), Srinagar and Baramulla areas.
Deputy Director, NSI for J&K, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, Q D Shah, addressed the participants and asked them to spread financial literacy especially in rural areas.
The participants were trained to utilize their services for achieving the goal of financial literacy of Union Ministry of Finance.
The camps were held in coordination with postal agency in the Valley.
