Sekidaffar residents appeal CE PDD
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, May 6: Residents of Sekidaffar have complained that they were being plunged into darkness due to frequent transmission failures in the area.
A delegation of the residents alleged that “no official/technician remains present in the local sub-station after 5 PM who could take care of the transmission failures.”
“A minor fault makes us to spend complete night without electricity. It is only on the next day when the officials report to the duty that the fault is fixed,” they said, adding that the transmission failures and faults have become a common feature in the area.
They expressed apprehensions that in absence of any official/technician at the sub-station after 5 PM, the electricity failures can cause damage to property and life.
They appealed the Chief Engineer PDD to look into the issue.
