Seminar on Trauma management held

Srinagar: A seminar on the theme ‘Management of Trauma patients in peripheral hospitals’ underscored the need of reducing the referrals from peripheral areas to reduce the burden on general hospitals. The seminar was organized by Health Services Block Chadoora in the Valley. Addressing the seminar, the chief guest, Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman stressed upon improving the patient care in peripheral hospitals to reduce unnecessary referrals. He said that the quality of health care would improve in hospitals following unnecessary referrals. Later, certificates were distributed among the participants.
