Work with honesty, dedication: Mir to Sarpanchs
Srinagar, May 7: Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir on Saturday said that Panchayats could play a vital role in the Socio-economic development of the state.
Mir while addressing elected Panchs and Sarpanchs at Tangmarg in north Kashmir said, “You should work with dedication and honesty and come up to the expectations of the people.”
He said all measures would be taken to empower Panchyats.
He appreciated youth for participating in large number in the Panchayat elections and hoped that JK would emerge as a model state in the country due to the efforts of the Panchs and Sarpanchs.
He said that legal boards at Block Level would also be constituted to settle small cases.
