Iqra Committee appeals for transformer augmentation

Srinagar, Oct 31: The Iqra Committee, Lane No 15, Firdousabad Batamaloo in the City  have appealed the Power Development Department to augment the colony transformer.
A delegation of locals led by the Mohalla committee said the augmentation of transformer has been sanctioned by the PDD department two years ago. “Since then the augmentation is awaited,” they said.
“Even though we brought the matter into the notice of JE, SE and MLA Batamaloo many times, all in vain,” they said.
The locals have appealed the Executive Engineer PDD and the Chief Engineer to look into the matter.
