Parting ways

This refers to the article "The partition literature" by Dr. Farooq Ahmad Peer. The author has aptly mentioned the partition as the unforgettable incident. Choosing, leaving and parting by those who did not even know the consequence is heart-rending. Partition of hearts and souls of the people as depicted by novelists shows their real understanding of this lethal incidence which alienated people to the hilt.
