Wajida Tabassum appointed coordinator GGF
Srinagar, Nov 10: Wajida Tabassum has been appointed as Coordinator, Gandhi Global Foundation Women’s Wing Srinagar.
According to a communiqué issued by the Gandhi Global Family, Wajida has done MA in Urdu and Kashmiri from University of Kashmir. She has also done a diploma in Hindi and Honours in Urdu/Culture and Sweet languages. Wajida is a noted writer and poetess and have many publications, published in various national and international Journals/Magazines and has received award from Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar/Training Institutes, New Delhi and Lucknow respectively. The newly appointed Coordinator, retired as Administrative Officer from Doordarshan Kendra, Srinagar and her induction as coordinator shall bring new dimensions in the activities of charitable Foundation Gandhi Global Family in the State, by spreading message of truth, love and ethics of non-violence cultivated by Mahatma Gandhi, the communiqué added.
