Justice Massodi takes oath as Addl Judge
Jammu: Justice Ghulam Hasnain Massodi was today administered oath of office as Additional Judge of J&K High Court for further one year.
Chief Justice of the State FM Ibrahim Kalifulla administered the oath to Justice Massodi.
Earlier the Registrar General of J&K High Court JR Kotwal read out the letter of elevation issued by the President of India for Justice Masoodi and letter of Governor authorizing the Chief Justice for administering the oath.
Justice Massodi was born on January 2, 1954 at Khrew in Pulwama. He did his LL.B from Kashmir University and joined the Bar and practiced as an Advocate from April 22, 1977 to April 1980.
Appointed as Munsiff on November 10, 1982, he was promoted as Sub-Judge on January 3, 1987 and as District and Sessions Judge on March 5, 1998.
Massodi proceeded for higher education to the United States in 1992 and did his Master’s in Laws from Harvard University Massachusetts with constitutional, administrative, environmental and planning law as major subject areas.
