Coalition Coordination Committee meeting next week

Srinagar, Nov 12: The Coalition Coordination Committee in the state has decided to meet next week to sort out their differences.
“The coordination committee will meet in Jammu next week. Congress high command has asked the state Congress leaders to sort out the differences within the coalition and PCC president Prof Saifuddin Soz had been called to Delhi a few days before where he was asked to call the meeting immediately,” highly placed sources told KNS.
They said in the meeting it would be decided that no leader of Congress or NC will make any statements against each other in public.
“Prof Soz, who is chairman of the committee, will brief the representatives of both the parties to shun mudslinging in public,” sources told KNS.
The coordination committee, besides Soz, is represented by Deputy CM Tara Chand and Mangat Ram Sharma on behalf of Congress and Finance Minister Abdur Rahim Rather, Rural Development Minister Ali Muhammad Sagar and Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan on behalf of NC.
Talking to KNS, Sagar said, “As chairman of the committee Prof Soz can call the meeting whenever he likes. I also feel a meeting should happen so that everything can be discussed there.”
Asked to comment on senior NC leader Dr Mustafa Kamaal’s ouster as Chief Spokesman and Additional General Secretary of the party, Sagar said, “It is a sensitive issue and I can’t comment on it.” KNS
