Srinagar, Nov 14: It were some merry moments for the children putting up at J&K Yateem Trust run orphanage at Gopalpora when radio channel 92.7 Big FM organized a Children’s Day function there and instantly sent it on air.
The radio station’s popular voice –RJ Saara –hosted a variety show with the children at the girls only orphanage.
The students did some mimicry of their teachers and were bold enough to solve every riddle posed by the RJ.
The kids were elated to listen to their program going on air on their “favourite radio channel.”
The RJ termed the orphanage inmates as “most ambitious and confident”.
The radio Station head Muzaffar Shah while commenting over the program said: “We at 92.7 Big FM always strive to bring something new for the listeners and it was only because of this that we went to orphanage so that the heart of people goes out towards the life of such children.”
“And also that such children get some entertainment through us,” he added.
