Dal dwellers get 74 plots

Srinagar, Nov 14: The High Level Committee (HLC) for relocation of people from Dal area allotted 74 plots to families living in the lake.
 An official handout said under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon 28 cases of families living in areas like Dole Mohalla, Wani Mohalla, Roni Mohalla and Moti Mohalla were settled.
 “Dr Samoon allotted 74 plots to the families at Rakh-e-Arth. He also redressed some of their grievances, on the spot,” it added.
 The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Lakes & Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) Irfan Yaseen, Additional DC Srinagar, Muhammad Akbar Ganai, Chief Town Planner, Kashmir, Iftikhar Hakim and other senior officers from R&B, LAWDA, Srinagar Development Authority, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and UEED.
