Remain united
This refers to the sermon delivered by Grand Imam of Saudi Arabia recently. The Grand Imam has rightly asked Muslims throughout the world to unite and be helpful to each other. He has sensitized people on an extremely issue of media and cultural invasion which is seeking to weaken their faith. I was extremely glad to read the contents of the speech wherein the Grand Imam has also referred to Islam as the solution for the problems of Muslims. Indeed the mass media in Islamic countries should play a proactive role in character building “as global media is bent on damaging Muslim society.”
Every Muslim must take a lesson from the Grand Imam’s speech and work towards betterment of the society. Muslims need to remain united rather than being disjointed. Being disjoined would only weaken us and take us into the pool of disillusionment. Let’s all strive for peace and understand that killing any innocent people is forbidden in Islam and Muslims should respect the rights of other Muslims.
