Auction of sapphire on Nov 18, 19

Jammu, Nov 15: J&K Minerals Limited is conducting auction of rough Sapphire and Crystals of world famous Paddar Mines on November 18 and 19 at Udhyog Bhawan, here.
A total of 19,210.990 gram of sapphire which includes a fresh lot of 9000 grams will be put to auction.
A number of sapphire crystals, including the precious pieces having 63.60 grams, crystalline pyramid fully transparent, corn flower blue colour, velvety lustre with 17 parameters GI indicators, 33.95 gm, 30 gm, 21 gm 14.75 gm, 13.13 gm, 7.07 gm, 6.70 gm and 5.18 gm semi transparent corn flower blue are the star attraction for buyers in the auction, an official statement said.
The precious mineral is world famous because of its unique peacock neck blue colour and is rarely available in the world. The auction is therefore, an opportunity for the gem merchants and jewellers from within and outside the country to buy these unique ranges of crystal.
