Boy among 2 killed in road mishaps
Srinagar: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Kashmir.
According to police spokesman, a tipper bearing registration number (JK01A-5204) hit and critically injured a boy, Shahid Nazir Dar,7, son of Nazir Ahmed of Asham Sumbal, at Asham, Bandipora. The grievously wounded Shahid Nazir was shifted to Community Health Centre Sumbal, where he succumbed to his injuries, the spokesman said adding a case had been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, Constable Abdul Rashid of IRP 2nd Battalion who was critically wounded in a road mishap at Kawoosa Magam, in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on November 11, succumbed to his wounds at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, the spokesman added.
4 HOUSES DAMAGED IN BLAZE
Four houses were damaged in two separate incidents of blaze in Valley.
According to police spokesman, three houses were damaged in a blaze incident in Mohalla Baha-u-Din Sahab, Nowhatta here.
In another incident, house Muhammad Ayub Khan son of Kalander Khan of Gutli Bagh, Ganderbal got damaged due to fire, he said.
