Remarks realistic: JAKAF, PFL
Srinagar: Joint Association of Kashmiri Affected Families (JAKAF) has welcomed the noted writer and human rights activist Arundhati Roy’s statement on Kashmir, describing is realistic. In a statement, the Association chairperson, Umi Atra attributed all the custodial killings, enforced disappearances, long incarcerations of leaders and other people and other human rights abuses allegedly the armed forces to the invocation and implementation of black laws like AFSPA and Disturbed Area Act (DAA) in Jammu Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Peoples’ Freedom League general secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganai has also welcomed Arundhati’s statement, saying that the people of Jammu Kashmir would continue their struggle till the objective freedom was achieved.
