Nazir Ahmed sworn in as SIC
Jammu, Nov 18: The Governor N N Vohra on Friday administered the oath of Office to Nazir Ahmed as the State Information Commissioner at a function held at Raj Bhavan here.
The Governor wished Nazir Ahmed a most successful tenure as the State Information Commissioner. He hoped that now as State Information Commission was fully constituted, G R Sufi, State Chief Information Commissioner and his team would be able to provide strong support to the Chief Minister and the State Government in rooting out corruption from JK.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for Transport, Qamar Ali Akhoon, Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda, State Chief Information Commissioner G R Sufi, and State Information Commissioner Dr Sudesh Kumar Sharma, were present on the occasion.
