Bahadur Mir of Baramulla passes away in Pakistan

Rawalpindi, Nov 1: Bahdur Mir of Qazi Hamam Baramulla passed away on Tuesday after a fighting years-long battle against cancer.
Mir, 70, breathed his last this morning at his residence at Khana Dakh (Islamabad). He was suffering from throat cancer and was undergoing treatment for last several years. It may be recalled here that Mir, the former militant commander crossed over the Line of Control (LOC) in early 90’s and got married to a local lady. He left behind a widow.
Meanwhile, the deceased was laid to rest at a graveyard in the suburbs of Rawalpindi.
Besides Hurriyat leaders of both the factions the funeral ceremony was attended by members of Kashmiri community and a large number of local people.
