Kamaal's Kamaal
I have gone through the article under the heading"Kamaal's Kamaal" by Javaid Malik (GK 30th Oct 2011). The author is very right when he echoes Dr Mustafa Kamals words “I am hurt with their behaviour too. I am hurt with the incidents they have committed here. I have stories to tell, right from 1990, which keeps hurting my heart. Is it only the Army which has a heart and we don’t have a heart? If they feel hurt, I feel hurt too.”. Let Dr Sahib be assured that on this aspect of removal of AFSPA, all Kashmiri hearts are beating with him. Having said that one wonders that if it is not some agency to create such a situation as to block the lifting of this draconian law, who else is. Obviously these are reactionary forces who don't want its revocation for their own vested interests.
