Mufti Azam condemns Facebook posts
Srinagar: Mufti Azam of Jammu and Kashmir, Moulana Mufti Muhammad Bashir-ud-Din Ahmad has strongly condemned the blasphemous contents posted on Facebook by some mischievous elements terming it as a conspiracy to hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslims.
In a communiqué, Mufti Muhammad Bashir-ud-Din said a meeting of the J&K Muslim Personal Law Board was called on Saturday wherein the participants urged the State Government to act swiftly to nab the culprits.
Mufti Azam hoped that the people of Kashmir will not allow any foreign agency to interfere in their religious rights and will maintain communal harmony at all costs.
