1 dies,2 injured in road mishaps
Srinagar, Nov 20: One person died and two others were injured in different road accidents in the Valley today.
A police spokesman in a statement said a truck (JK03B-2009) hit Ghulam Hassan Mir of Mir Ali Islamabad (Anantnag) at Janglatmandi Chowk resulting in his on the spot death. Police has registered a case and taken up investigations.
In another incident, a Tata Sumo (JK05A-7139) turned turtle on Srinagar-Jammu Highway near Trumgund crossing, resulting in injuries to Ali Muhammad son of Bakir Rather of Brain Nishat. The injured was hospitalized..Police said a Truck (JK13-6230) hit and injured a Motorcyclist Tabish Bukhari son of Muhammad Iqbal of Iqbalabad Parimpora.
